So on a Personal Note ...

I am starting to feel alot better, still can't walk around alot but I'm finally having a few good days where I don't need the pain meds, still hurts but learning to manage it. I see a specialist for my bones on the 11th. Old age has started settling in cause I now have osteoporosis. Oh joy!!! Lol.  Have a great day everyone and thank you all for the prayers, concern and get well wishes.. Love  DT2

  3. Good for you! Really glad to hear that you're feeling even a tad better. Try to get by without the pain meds; the doctors will push them down your throat - purely in your interest, of course....

  4. Great to hear it! Glad you have days without the meds, too!
Take your time and heal. You're the most important judge of how you're doing, not a doctor.

  7. Sorry I missed all of this Kid! I've been running around like a chicken with his head cut off.

You take care of yourself and stay safe. We do lose a bit of flexibility as we age I'm afraid. I keep trying to do things at 70 I used to do at 20. The attempt must be funny to watch. Maybe I should make a video and post it on Woodsterman.

  9. Karen, I just heard about your tragedy. My heart grieves with you, as I hold you up in prayer. I know there is little to be said at this time that will help, but at least know that you will be prayed for, often and with great fervor. Tim

  12. My sincerest condolences. I wish I could send more. I pray that in all of this that you may find peace. We lost a boy two years ago and only now are we starting to recover and find some sort of life again. May you meet again someday in heaven

  13. Karen, I just wanted to wish you a happy thanksgiving. I know it is hard to feel thankful this year. For me, as well, my wife of 25 years was diagnosed just after our anniversary with breast cancer. But we never forget that God is in control, and we just have to trust that He has things planned for us that are for our good, that we can't yet see. I will continue to pray for you, and trust that He will work things out for your best. Be blessed, dear one.
