Heart Broken .... :-(

  1. I cannot even begin to fathom the pain of losing ONE of my kids, let alone TWO.

May G-d carry you through this.

If I might, there's an old tale that might give a little comfort. At least, I hope it will.

A Rabbi's only child, his son, had passed away and the man was inconsolable. Many tried, but none could say anything that would assuage his grief. Then, one day, a man said "Rabbi, your son was a precious vessel trusted to you by G-d; you did your best, but G-d decided He wanted His vessel, your son, back before it could be damaged by the world."

The Rabbi thought and realized that G-d had merely repossessed that which was His anyway, and started to improve.

Your two sons were His precious gifts, and clearly He wanted them back before the world could make them impure.

    Again, G-d bless.

  5. I cannot imagine the grief. My kids are young and the thought that they could be taken from me brings tears to my eyes. I will pray tonight for God to comfort you.

  6. Karen, You don't have to answer this, but just know that you are not forgotten. And we are just as heartbroken as you at your loss. It will never go away completely, you will just be able to breathe again.

  7. I just learned of your tragic loss DT2. I lost my daddy on Dec. 6th after he suffered a major heart attack September 27th. He had ups and downs and while his prognosis was positive, it wasn't meant to be. As bad as that was, as a parent I cannot imagine what you are going through at this time in your life.
I wish you the best. Prayer and time helps with these things. You will be in my prayers.
    Most sincerely,
    Jeffery
