We of course are proud of our children no matter their path, but you have double reason to be proud of your son. He is one of the people who choose service as his calling. This is as appreciated as military service and I thank him. My prayers for his and his co workers safety, and well done.
Congrats! my younger son has wanted to be a firefighter since he was 15. He volunteered locally, he just got hired on and is going through the academy now. The fire fighting is the easy part, its the EMT portion thats tough.
