On a Personal Note...

My new ride!!! I love it. My oldest is 17 so I gave him my Honda (5 speed) now to teach him how to drive stick shift. This should be fun ... My brother and x- husband will help with that thank god, not sure I have the patience haha. He drives the Impala pretty good so fingers crossed. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.. :-)

  2. I taught my 3 kids to drive, all manuals, but I don't think my nerves would let me teach another one to drive.
My daughter bought her next car and insisted on a stick, daddy's so proud.

  4. I have a twin brother. We would lay with our feet towards each other and pretend to shift, if you can understand. We couldn't have been more than 6 or 7. My dad always had a stick shift car for fuel economy to go to work, a long commute, and we had a family sedan, with an automatic, with 5 kids. I remember riding 40 mile trips listening to the Grand Ole Opry sleeping in the back window of the sedan. You wouldn't dare try that today, the whole family would go to jail!
    By the way, nice car.

I had an '05 I put 154,000 miles on before trading it in a couple years ago. But I loved that car!
