My son's up date...

The doctor said he would have been better off with a break. So he has torn ligaments if swelling isn't down by next Monday then he has to have a MRI and he said possibly a surgery to repair. :(

    1. Lol! So glad it's still there. He is upset that his football career maybe be on hold for at least a year.

  3. Oh, honey, bless both of y'all. I'm afraid I agree with the dr., better off with a clean break. Hope the swelling goes down.

  4. When I read the first post I figured it was a young child. Seeing the man with a cast somehow makes it less concerning. Don't know why that is, maybe cause we raised two of em. Ligament/tendon issues are the worst. They take the longest to heal and require the most rehab. Here's a tip: IF your kid dumps that Steeler jersey and picks up a Panther jersey he'll get better quicker. I promise..

Good luck with the rehab. Put in the work early and often. He'll be back to 100% in no time.

  7. Interesting: pic 1 shows him texting. I can relate to that. Last month's phone bill indicated that my 13-year old sent/received 2,064 texts. Yikes! We'll be hiking in the wild and she'll be bummed that she can't text her friends - probably about how bored she is having to spend time in the Wyoming wilderness with her totally un-cool dad. Anyway, good luck to the lad.
