I remember growing up, we had a huge family, all the aunts and uncles,and cousins would go to grandmas's for all the holidays. She had a small house and the kids would all be outside. The grown ups were inside. We would stay outside the whole time. And we LOVED it!! The only time we were allowed in was for restroom breaks, and even then, my male cousins and I usually took a leak in the alley. Grandpa had a picnic table set up under the tree, thats where we had our meals. Did not matter if it was freezing outside or if it was a 115 degrees. We were kids and we were expected to know our place. Fucking OUTSIDE. Now a days, I go to my neices house, and all their fucking kids are in the house, sitting on the sofa, leaving no room for the adults. Talking over the adults, and my freakin neice is afraid to correct the little bastards, afraid to hurt their little feelings I guess. Thats the problem with all these fucked up kids today. They are brought up like they are peers of the adults and are not taught any respect. When I was growing up, we respectd our elders, not like the little pecker woods these days. I refuse to go over my neices house any more. I told her if you won't teach these little fuckers manners then I am not coming over any more. I don't want the little fuckers at my funeral either. I miss the old days.
Do what my parents did. Kick their ass out and lock the door.
